Tic-Tac-Toe

Objective

Place three of your marks (X or O) in a horizontal, vertical, or diagonal row before your opponent does.

Rules

• X always goes first
• Players take turns placing their mark on an empty cell
• The first player to get three marks in a row wins
• If all nine cells are filled without a winner, the game is a draw

Game Modes

• vs AI — Play against the computer. You are X, the AI is O
• 2 Player — Play against a friend on the same device

AI Difficulty

• Easy — AI makes random moves
• Medium — AI blocks your winning moves and takes obvious wins
• Hard — AI plays optimally using the minimax algorithm

Controls

• Click or Tap — Place your mark
• 1–9 — Place mark in cell (numpad layout: 7=top-left, 9=top-right, 1=bottom-left)
• N — New Game

Strategy Tips

• Taking the center on the first move gives you the most winning opportunities
• Corners are the next best opening positions
• Try to create a fork — two ways to win at once — to force a victory
• Always block your opponent if they have two in a row
